Guardsman Group

Guardsman Group is Jamaica's largest security group, in operation for nearly five decades. Its Guardsman Alarms division (founded 1983, formerly Brinks Alarms Limited) was the first company to establish an electronic central alarm station in Jamaica. The company operates a direct-to-customer model serving residential and commercial clients with electronic security, intrusion alarm and panic systems, cameras, and fire alarms. Its 24/7 Central Monitoring Station receives signals and dispatches its own in-house "Dynamic Armed Response" teams within minutes, while engaging police/fire/ambulance. Newer offerings (under the Guardsman Metaverse brand) include the iProtect wireless monitoring system for residential and small-business clients and G-Verify real-time video alarm verification. The group also runs outsourcing, cash management, and facilities services, and is expanding to the Cayman Islands.
