Securitas Oy Finland

Securitas Oy is the Finnish subsidiary of Securitas AB, providing security services nationwide across Finland. It is a hybrid operator combining its own manned guarding (static and mobile patrol) with a 24/7/365 alarm receiving centre (hälytyskeskus / palvelukeskus) in Helsinki that handles over one million calls per year. The ARC monitors intrusion, fire, water-damage and building-automation alarms; on activation operators call the customer and, where coverage exists, dispatch a guard or notify authorities. It receives signals from customer-owned/third-party alarm transmission systems (the customer manages their own transmission equipment), serving both commercial and residential clients. An optional alarm-image (video) verification service lets operators assess events via camera before deciding the response.
