Tepillé is a Chilean security technology company that pioneered crime-prevention monitoring built around active deterrence rather than passive recording (slogan "No grabe robos, EVÍTELOS" - don't record robberies, prevent them). It monitors surveillance cameras connected over the internet to its own Video Monitoring Center (CVM), where operators watch live and, on detecting an intrusion, perform real-time voice deterrence ("disuasión por voz") through high-power speakers at the protected site. Services cover commercial/industrial premises, homes, SMEs and personal protection, with 24/7 or night-only plans, image backup, and police (Carabineros) notification via the Alpha III platform.
