Toyo Tec Co., Ltd. (TSE 9686) is a listed Osaka-based security and building-management group, historically the first/leading independent security firm in the Kansai region. Core business is mechanical/electronic security: sensors at customer premises send alarms to a 24/7 monitoring centre, after which patrol officers are dispatched and police/fire are called as needed. It serves both commercial (facility, transport, ATM management) and residential (home security) customers directly. An image-monitoring service automatically transmits event clips to the centre for operator verification, and operators can issue remote voice warnings/intimidation on site. Service covers five prefectures (Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Aichi). Secom is its largest shareholder (~27.4%, equity-method affiliate); Toyo Tec also holds 19% of, and performs dispatch work for, Kanden SOS (Kansai Electric).
