NVD Beveiligingsgroep is a Dutch security company founded in 1909 (as Nachtveiligheidsdienst en Contrôle), describing itself as the oldest independent private security firm in the Netherlands and a top-4 market player. It serves both residential and commercial clients with alarm systems, surveillance, security cameras, access control, fire detection, guarding/object security and physical security. It is a hybrid operator: it sells and installs its own systems direct to consumers and businesses, and also operates a 24/7 Alarm & Service Centre (PAC/meldkamer, established 2009) that monitors for third parties via 600+ partners. The centre processes over 100,000 signals per day (fire, hold-up, intrusion, sabotage, power and arm/disarm events). Via NVD Video-Connect, operators can view camera footage on an alarm to verify events (e.g. confirm a fire) and share live images with police. Headquartered in Haarlem with regional offices across the Netherlands.
