About Security House Center

Security House Center Co., Ltd. (株式会社セキュリティハウス・センター) is the operating headquarters of the "Security House Network," a nationwide Japanese franchised dealer chain of crime- and disaster-prevention system specialty shops ("Stations"). Founded June 1982 in Kyoto as a sales arm of Takenaka Engineering, it organizes ~138-140 independent member installer companies covering all of Japan (Hokkaido to Okinawa). It is part of the TAKEX / Takenaka Sensor Group and equips members with TAKEX-branded sensors, cameras and deterrence speakers. Its core model is "自主機械警備" (autonomous/self-monitoring mechanical security, branded NEXT and the i-NEXT network remote-monitoring system) built around a "deter, don't get targeted" philosophy combining deterrence, sensors and camera evidence. The HQ handles equipment procurement, system development, advertising, training and insurance; member shops perform sales, installation and after-sales maintenance. It serves residential, commercial, industrial and public-sector clients. The site does not describe a 24/7 central monitoring station or operator response.
